1^st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi] – (6) Hadrian’s Wall finished second in all four starts with two last year and two at Saratoga this summer. (8) Collado Hueco was third in the same fast race as the top choice. (7) Presidential Power had a second-place finish in July at Saratoga. (1) Veblen made his first start for Bill Mott last month and should be better prepared to win with experience gained.

2^nd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi TURF] – (4) Arequipe set the pace and missed by a head three weeks ago in his third start. (1) Broadcast was fourth in his debut at Saratoga last month at 4-1 and was less than a length behind the winner. (5) Port in a Storm made his first start last month for Shug McGaughey, who rarely wins with firsters, and blinkers come off. (7) Suspend missed by a neck in his second start after racing six-wide.

3^rd race [NY, Alw 55000s, 7 ½ F] – (1) Dia Por Dia (C) got bet down from 6-1 to 7-2 and was a wire-to-wire winner of the N2L condition following an eight-month layoff. (2) Furry Fox set the pace and finished second at this NY-bred starter allowance level. (4) A. P. Slingshot has nine top three finishes in a row facing both open company and state-breds. (3) Our Preferred Pal was second and then third in NY-bred starter allowances during August.

5^th race [Md 55000, 7F TURF] – (6) No Compromise came back after three months off and drops into a claimer for the first time after two good races in the spring. (2) Perretti returns from a year off and drops in for a tag for the first time and showed plenty of early speed. (12) Fleet N Ready finished third at this level in June behind a horse that came back to win again. (11) Arabian Power is another one that has lots of early speed and had a pair of seconds in maiden claimers at Churchill Downs.

Best bets: Hadrian’s Wall (1^st); Dia Por Dia (3^rd). Best value: Arequipe (2^nd); No Compromise (5^th).
