1st race – [OC 50k/N1X, 6 ½ F] - (6) Willow Bend won the second-level allowance last year and goes for the $50,000 optional tag in here. She was second in her last two starts in open claimers. (8) Will Be Famous was first or second in her last five starts and was claimed from her two most recent races. (1) Save Us Melania won two starter allowances for Linda Rice from her three recent races. (3) Majestic Return set the pace last time on a sloppy, sealed track and blinkers go on.
2nd race – [Md Sp Wt, 7F] - (4) Mainstream was third at Gulfstream Park and then second by a neck last time at Churchill Downs in his two starts for Brad Cox. (7) Draft Riots debuted in April at Aqueduct at 5-1 after pressing the pace and finished third. (10) Secured Ladder was second in April following a layoff at Keeneland in a high level claimer. (5) Stars and Stripes was a $475,000 yearling purchase from a breeding with a $45,000 stallion and has been training well at Saratoga.
3rd race – [OC 75k/N2X, 1 1/8 mi TURF] – (4) El Rezeen was second in his first start of the year following a winter break in a full field at Keeneland. (7) Redistricting will drop down from a series of graded stakes races going back to last year when he was second in the Seabiscuit (G2) and the Knickerbocker (G3). (9) Atlast will make his American debut for Graham Motion who wins at 24% with the Euro imports. He was a Group 3 winner at Longchamp last year. (2) Swiftsure made his first start of the year at Fair Grounds in March in a third-level allowance where he set the pace and finished third. He goes for the $75,000 tag.
4th race – [OC 75k/N2X), 7F] – (8) Hades was a winner of the Holy Bull (G3) on the 2024 Kentucky Derby trail. He makes his 2025 debut dropping back to an allowance for the first time in nine starts. (7) Eliminate was a winner in April after a winter layoff for Todd Pletcher. (3) Magnolia Midnight hit the board three times this year and gets into this race with the claiming option. He set the pace in a second-level allowance in April and cuts back to the preferred seven-furlong distance. (4) Quick to Accuse was claimed in March from a NY-bred optional claiming victory and last month won a first-level allowance against open company.
5th race – [OC 50k/N1X, 7F] – (6) Antonio of Venice (B) raced seven wide in a first-level allowance in March, fought gamely, and just missed by a head. (2) Silver Slugger won 6 out of his last 8 starts with a second last time in the Nerud (G3) after setting the pace. (1) Unlimitedpotential won 2 of his last 3 races and gets a fast pace to set up his closing run. (9) Aggelos the Great won the top level NY-bred allowance and moved to an open company allowance where he finished third.
6th race – [Wonder Again (G2), 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (5) Opulent Restraint (C) was bet down from 6-1 to 4-1, set the pace in the Memories of Silver, and finished second by a neck well clear of the rest of the field. (6) Nitrogen won her last four races in a row and the most recent were in three graded stakes at three different tracks. (8) Laurelin is undefeated in three starts with two last year and then in April in the Memories of Silver at Aqueduct. (2) May Day Ready will make her 2025 debut after winning $1 million. She won her first three starts and then was second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.
7th race – [True North (G3), 6 ½ F] – (6) Mullikin won four races in a row last year including the Nerud (G2) and the Forego (G1). He was third in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) and second in the Cigar Mile (G2). (5) Book ‘em Danno won the Woody Stephens (G1) at Saratoga last summer and was last seen in the Churchill Downs (G1) in a blanket finish against a powerful field. (4) Nakatomi won the Vanderbilt (G1) at Saratoga in July and was second by a neck in the Golden Shaheen (G1) in Dubai in April. (2) Crazy Mason won the Carter (G2) at Aqueduct with a rally from last.
8th race – [Met Mile (G1), 1 mi] - (1) Fierceness has a perfect record at Saratoga including the Travers (G1). He was second in the Breeders’ Cup Classic and set the track record in his 2025 debut in the Alysheba (G2) at Churchill. (5) Raging Torrent won 5 out of his last 6 starts including the Godolphin Mile (G1), the Malibu (G1), and the Pat O’Brien (G2). (2) White Abarrio has two big wins at Gulfstream in the Pegasus World Cup (G1) and the Ghostzapper (G3), but he has not run well in the Met Mile finishing fifth last year and third in 2023. (4) Just a Touch won a pair of allowances by a combined 17 lengths in his two starts this year.
9th race – [Jaipur (G1), 5 ½ F TURF] – (2) Think Big won his last three races including the Turf Sprint (G2) at Churchill on Derby weekend and the Shakertown (G2) at Keeneland. (8) Alogon returned from the winter off and was fifth in the Elusive Quality at Aqueduct last month. (4) My Boy Prince won that Elusive Quality in his first start of the year. (7) Bold Journey was second in the same stakes race after rallying from 10th and last after racing on the dirt during the winter.
10th race – [Pennine Ridge (G3), 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (1) Zulu Kingdom won 5 out his 6 starts with four wins in stakes races at different tracks. His only off the board finish was in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1). (4) Flying Mohawk will return to the grass after running second in the Jeff Ruby (G3) and 18th in the Kentucky Derby. On the turf he won twice and was fifth in the Pilgrim (G2). (7) Mi Bago won two stakes on the grass last year and the Colonel Liam by almost five lengths at Gulfstream in March. (9) Noble Confessor is still a maiden but was second in the Pilgrim and second in his 2025 debut in a maiden race.
11th race – [Woody Stephens (G1), 7F] – (7) Colloquial is scratched. (2) Madaket Road puts the blinkers back on after running second in the Pat Day Mile (G2). (3) Macho Music won the Pat Day Mile with a front-end effort at Churchill on Derby day. (4) Patch Adams won twice in his five-race career and both of them were fast times that earned big speed figures. (6) T Kraft brings a three-race winning streak to the race when he moved from a maiden to an allowance to the Jimmy Winkfield.
12th race – [Manhattan (G1), 1 3/16 mi TURF] - (6) Spirit of St Louis won 3 of his last 4 starts including the Turf Classic (G1) at Churchill and the Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1). (9) Far Bridge won 4 out of 5 races with two graded stakes victories this year following a winter break. He won two Grade 1s in New York last year. (5) Deterministic won the Fort Marcy (G2) in his first turf race in 2025. (3) Highway Robber was a close third in the Turf Classic behind the top choice and a horse that came back to win a graded stakes.
13th race – [Belmont Stakes (G1), 1 1/4 mi] – (2) Sovereignty makes his first start since winning the Kentucky Derby. (7) Journalism was second in the Kentucky Derby and won the Preakness. (6) Baeza was third in the Kentucky Derby when he rallied from far back. (1) Hill Road won the Peter Pan (G3) to prepare for the Belmont Stakes.
14th race – [OC 50k/N1X, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (8) Smooth Breeze was second in a stakes race as a 2-year-old at Aqueduct and won a NY-bred allowance in April. (9) Simulate was a maiden winner at Saratoga last year beating two horses that won their next starts. (5) Then was third in his last two races in allowances at Keeneland and Gulfstream. (3) Tiz Dashing was second in the Awad last year and has a third in an allowance between stakes races this year.
