Canadian Classic Winner Luster Returns to Keeneland for Prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Dixiana on Oct. 10

Canadian classic winner Luster headlines the field of 11 entered Saturday for the 43rd running of the $750,000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (G1) Presented by Dixiana to be run at Keeneland on Saturday, Oct. 10. 

Owned by Gainesway Stable and Andrew Rosen and trained by Josie Carroll, Luster defeated males in the King’s Plate Aug. 15 at Woodbine to extend her win streak to three. The winner of a Keeneland allowance race on the turf April 9, the 3-year-old daughter of Knicks Go also won the Selene (G3) and the Woodbine Oaks Presented by Stella Artois before the King’s Plate. 

The Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Dixiana highlights Saturday’s 10-race program as the ninth race.
