Catalog for Keeneland April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale Now Online

Approved supplements will be accepted until April 24 auction

Keeneland has released the catalog for its April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale, which will be held the evening of Friday, April 24 following the races on closing day of the Spring Meet. Click here for the online catalog.

Keeneland will accept approved supplemental entries to the April Sale until the sale date, allowing sellers to take advantage of current form — including performances during the Spring Meet.

The auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and be livestreamed on Keeneland.com.

“The April Sale really captures the momentum of spring racing at its peak,” Keeneland Vice President of Sales Tony Lacy said. “Because it’s held on closing day of the Spring Meet, which concludes just days before the Kentucky Derby, it capitalizes on a moment when the energy and the audience are at their apex at Keeneland. That setting helps create a dynamic live auction atmosphere for people looking for race-ready horses.”

The catalog includes many horses that are lightly raced and have current form. The entries average six lifetime starts and nearly half of those cataloged are winners in 2026.

Horses of note in the catalog include:

A print catalog will be available for pickup at Keeneland’s Information Center located near the Grandstand South and Clubhouse entrances beginning Friday, April 17. A supplemental catalog will be printed prior to the sale.
