1st race – (5)  Southeastern was well-backed in his debut and fizzled. May perk up here in a claimer. (7) Wingfoot seems like a capable firster. (6) Silver Talisman is hard to read off all-weather works. (1) Telecaster has shown little so far but fits better in a claimer. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-7. Doubles: 1-5-6-7 with 1-3-4.

2nd race – (1) Strong State was second in a Grade 3 stakes here and looks best. (3) Lynn’s Milky Way could be the one to catch. (4) Her Laugh has been away but is working nicely. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4.

4th race – (8) Patron Silver was a good second in her debut and looks best here. (4) Bohemian figures to pose a late threat. (1) Rhapsody in Motion had some trouble last time and could improve from the rail. (6) Paseo has speed and may hang on in this field.  Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6-8.

8th race – (3) Somethingdangerous  had some trouble on a wet track in his debut and deserves a second chance here. (1) Prize Pick is an interesting firster. (10) La Norme de Jour has speed and should be a threat in this field. (8) Sockdolager is worth a look here.  Betting strategy: 3  to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-8-10. Doubles: 1-3-8-10 with 3-5-8-12.

9th race – (8) Heart Headed was claimed in his last three starts and should be formidable here. (12) Our Starry Night comes off a sharp try and should be the one to fear. (5) Let My People Go may offer a late threat. (3) Jakajaro might move forward off his US debut. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-8-12.
