1st race – (5)  Goldenageactress drops off a Rice claim and looks like the one to beat. (6) Theoretically can be a threat in reality here. (8) Don’t Look Back could be effective at this level. 3rd race – (2) Handsome Pants drops a notch off the Sharp claim and looks good here. (1) Morunning missed by a neck and should be the main rival. (5) Whiskey Shot might perk up off a big class drop. 5th race – (5) Tiverton had some trouble when third. Seems best here following a claim by Sharp. (7) One True Shance could be hard to catch against these. (8) Graydaria cannot be overlooked in this field. (1) Farm Team looked good in a win last time out. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-7-8.

7th race – (3) Gold Sovereign has a strong late kick and should work out a winning trip here. (9) Bessamay missed by a neck in his debut and is the one to fear. (8) Mr Bobo was hurt by a wide trip last time. Gets a second chance here. (10) Western Run has speed which will help with the outside post. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-8-9-10.

9th race – (9) One Nine Hundred has been freshened since a sharp win at Saratoga. Gets the nod here. (6) Eglise could be hard to catch at this distance. (7) Echo Again will benefit from a fast pace. (4) Thoughtthatcounts debuts for Jacobson and should not be ignored.  Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-7-9.
