2nd race – (9) Promisemeanempire was third in her last two tries but should be able to handle this field. (1) Aaralyn should make matters interesting in the final furlong. (3) Roselee May missed by a head in her first dirt race and will be the main rival. (2) Up On the Edge usually brings home a check and figures to have a say in the outcome. 6th race – (6) Charge Account returns to a claimer and should be tough to catch in the stretch. (8) Everyotherwon will appreciate the shorter distance. 7th race – (3) Arro Smash was second against similar company and merits top billing. (4) Zambezi could work out a good trip here. (7) Julliard has been away since April but will be a threat here. 9th race – (2) Promise Me a Ride could lead throughout in this spot. (5) Cyclone Mischief has not run since the Kentucky Derby but has put in some fast works. (3) Briterdayzahead might improve with the addition of blinkers. (4) Bromley should be well-suited by the distance. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place.  Exacta box: 4-5-9-10.

12th race – (1) Victorious could be just that in her debut for McCarthy. (3) Rita’s On the Beach rallied for second last time and may be the main threat. (2) Rubia had a useful comeback race and can take a step forward here. (6) Bourbon to Blame might be a main contender in this field. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-6.
