1st race – (4) Late Nite Lizzie rallied late for third and should be aided by more distance. (5) Cry If I Want To might hang on better in her second start for Asmussen. (3) Bump in the Night finds easier company here. (1) Golden Lake is an interesting firster from Amoss. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-5. Doubles: 1-3-4-5 with 1-3-4-6.

2nd race – (1) Nyquick has been away since April when he finished second but has been training nicely for his comeback. (3) Mullion returns from a lengthy layoff but seems a main threat here. (4) Wicked Again belongs in the exotics. (6) Spielman was second last time and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-6.

4th race – (9) Hey Joe Joe won last time out and seems poised for an encore. (1) J T’s Imagination also exits a win and must be respected. (7) Ham Sandwich could be a tasty choice here. (4) Dunphy has enough speed to be a main threat. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-7-9.

6th race – (6) Churchtown  flopped last time but can bounce back here. (5) Gray’s Fable looks like the one to fear in the stretch. (7) Ocean Atlantique will be a factor on his best try. (2) Skyro will welcome a return to turf. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place.  Exacta box: 2-5-6-7.

9th race – (4) Baba Voss (C) dropped from 2-1 to 8-5 and settled for third while racing wide. Gets the win today. (3) King Curlin is highly consistent and can complete the exacta. (8) Old Boomer will be charging at the leaders in the stretch. (12) Tall Boy can be a contender if he overcomes the outside post. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-8-12.
