1^st race – (9) Mighty Toro set the pace and faded to sixth at this distance in MSW company. May not look back here. (8) Flamboyant could pose a late threat. (1) Bogarts Bucchero may run better without blinkers. (3) Plettenberg Bay looms a threat here.

2^nd race – (6) My Girl Mia  drops to a level where she might lead throughout, even as a maiden. (9) Shady Stripes fits in nicely here. (4) Sugaree should be more competitive here. (7) Cotta Ride was claimed last time and could pay a quick dividend.

3^rd race - (4) Trump Era just missed last time. Can get the win here. (7) Feeling Lucky comes off a sharp maiden win. (9) Chromeflash is dangerous on his best try. (3) Sogno Di Vino will profit from a fast pace.

4^th race – (5) Motga is a $1.05 million buy who can win at first asking for Baffert. (7) Psalm is working quickly for this. (3) Babe’s Empire should not be ignored. (4) Flight Club could take off here.

5^th race – (5) Sumter is razor sharp right now and gets the call. (8) No Nay Hudson ships in from Kentucky for Ward and could be the main foe. (9) Sorrento Sky has enough late speed to be a main contender. (3) Man O Rose is highly consistent and can make his presence felt.

6th race – (6) Furiosity is working fast and looks like the one to beat. (4) Dear Diary looks like a promising runner for Mandella. (9) Sea’s No Joke gives Baffert a strong hand here. (10) Blame Ashley is worth a look here.

7^th race  - (10) – Fast Peace has been competing in stakes and has a class edge in this field. (2) Charlie’s to Blame was second in his last two tries. A third time? (12) Man Among Men makes his third start after a layoff and should be considered. (5) American Hope can sneak into the picture at the end.

8^th race – (8) Clouseau should pass inspection in this field as he returns to two turns. (7) Magnify looks like the one to fear. (5) Pure Madness is in great form and should not be overlooked. (4) Native Land posted a big win in his first start for new connections.

9^th race – The Del Mar Oaks (G1) – (9) Kensington Lane won a Grade 1 at Saratoga in her U.S. debut and can make it two in a row here. (3) Tam Tam has been off the board only once in 8 starts and should be the prime threat. (4) Green Carrera is an intriguing foreign shipper. (6) Inbox should be in the picture at the end.

10^th race – The Pacific Classic (G1) – (11 Knightsbridge is untested at 1 1/4 miles, but anything close to his last monstrous start puts him in the winner’s circle. (9) Navajo Warrior is in career-best form and seems the main threat for the top choice. (7) Hit Show has earned $9 million and is dangerous on his best try. (3) Finger is a Japanese shipper who can make his presence felt.

11^th race – The Del Mar Mile (G2) - (7) Almendares is a graded stakes winner who had a rough trip last time and can make amends here. (1) Cabo Spirit has speed from the rail and may not look back. (9) King of Gosford belongs in the exotics. (5) Detain comes into this on an upswing.
