Dresden Row Wins Wednesday’s Featured Mill Ridge Purse at Keeneland

Twin Oaks Bloodstock’s Dresden Row, making his first start since winning the HPIbet Autumn (G3) at Woodbine five months ago, took command at the top of the stretch and drew off by 2 3/4 lengths to win Wednesday’s featured $150,000 Mill Ridge Purse for 4-year-olds and up.

Trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by Flavien Prat, Dresden Row completed the 1 1/16 miles on a firm turf course in 1:42.17.

A Keeneland sales graduate and the Canadian champion 3-year-old colt in 2024, Dresden Row is a 5-year-old Kentucky-bred son of Lord Nelson out of the Giant’s Causeway mare Elle Special. A three-time Grade 3 winner, Dresden Row improved his record to 16-7-5-4 and increased his earnings to $539,478.

The second choice in the field of seven, Dresden Row returned $6.58, $4.26 and $2.50. Pacesetting Theismann returned $6.62 and $3.04 under Luis Saez and finished a half-length in front of favored Integration, who paid $2.10 to show under John Velazquez.
