1st race – (1) My Man Flint was second in his last two starts and seems overdue for a victory. (2) Jack the Cat has a nice late kick and could pay a quick dividend off the claim by Tharrenos. 3rd race – (2) Majestic Pharoah has an interesting pedigree for Tapeta and is worth a long look. (1) Ready On the Line has speed from the rail and could be hard to catch. 6th race – (5) Dreaming of Audrey comes off a win at this level and should not be bothered by the added distance. (4) Chasing Joy drops to a level where he should be effective. 7th race – (6) Carrothers (A) turned in a highly impressive effort last time, overcoming some trouble at the start to beat a foe who won his next start. Looks best in this field. (8) Glynn County should be well-sited by Tapeta. (5) Ever Dangerous figures to be a factor in the final furlong. (1) Mannix should be helped by a ground-saving trip. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6-8. Doubles: 1-5-6-8 with 1-2-7-9.

8th race – (7) Miss Sakamoto carved out fast fractions and weakened late. May not look back in this field. (9) French Kissing debuts for D’Angelo and looks like the main rival. (1) Parchita should make a smooth switch to turf. (2) Peach Cobbler seeks a fourth straight win and should not be ignored. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-7-9.
