Haskell FULLCARD Hotlist - July 19

1st race – (5) Forward Deployed closed fast and just missed last time. Gets the win here. (7) Alice Fairfax is an interesting import from Europe. (8) Victory Badge had a useful prep for this. (10) Notable Exchange is worth a look here.

2nd race – (7) Noticeable looks like a promising firster from Pletcher. (2) Always Authentic can also be a factor in his debut. (8) Irish Banba was third and second in her last two starts and should be considered. (5) Forbidden Friend could be closer this time.

3rd race - (4) Freedom Glider was second in his last two starts and should get the win here. (11) Investment Mandate gets a key rider switch. (10) Hot Lead also benefits from a rider change. (12) Big Ern McCracken should be closing at the end.

4th race – (8) Shifty Gold missed by a head last time and can make amends here. (3) Valentin exits a stakes and should be the main rival. (6) Mr. Papagiorgio comes off a nice win at Aqueduct. (5) Cartucho seems poised for a positive 2025 debut.

5th race – WinStar Matchmaker (G3) - (3) Spaliday comes off a solid win over the course and gets the nod here. (2) Sacred Wish will be dangerous off her best try. (5) Segesta gets some class relief after running in a Grade 1 stakes. (1) Grayosh will be helped by a rail trip.

6th race – Monmouth Cup Stakes (G3) - (4) Just a Touch was third in the Met Mile and should handle this bunch. (3) Classic Catch seems second best in this field. (6) Surface to Air should be in the mix here. (5) Cadet Corps seeks a third straight win but faces tougher.

7th race –  (1) Main Beach has speed and the rail and should work out a good trip. (3) Spirit Prince seems on edge for a competitive effort here. (2) John the Beer Man has been away but should be a key threat. (9) Assertiveness fits in nicely here.

8th race – (6) Mister Lincoln won big at Parx and should turn in another strong effort here. (2) Yara’s Quest is working sharply and gets Irad. (4) Lord Berrier belongs in the exotics. (5) Pogi will be part of the early pace and could hang around until the end. (1) Electric Eel may light up the toteboard.

9th race – (6) Isivuguvungu has a strange name but excels in turf sprints and should prevail. (7) Nothing Better can rebound with a better try here. (8) Eamonn has a nice late kick and should be in the picture. (1) Buccherino could be a threat if he handles turf.

10th race – The Molly Pitcher Stakes (G3)  - (3) Randomized didn’t fire in thee slop. Expect a top try here. (5) Dorth Vader won the Grade 1 Phipps in the slop but face a tougher task on  dry surface. (1) Candied will get a boost from a ground-saving trip. (4) Majestic Oops looked good in a stakes win over the track.

11th race – The United Nations (G2)  - (3) Redistiricting won easily in a prep for this and gets top billing. (4) Limited Liability is in great form and is the one to fear. (5) Grand Sonata will be happy to be back on turf. (1) Corruption should like the added distance.

12th race – Haskell Stakes (G1)  - (2) Journalism was never worse than second in the three Triple Crown races and starts his summer campaign with a big win. (4) Burham Square usually turns in a good effort and gets the call for second. (8) Goal Oriented is trained by Baffert who has been a force in this race. (6) Gosger will be a main threat if he runs back to his effort in the Preakness.

13th race – (2) Drakon weakened late last time and will be aided by the shorter distance. (4) Consultant can take a nice step forward here. (5) Mailman Money is worth a look off the Ness claim. (6) More Than Work missed by a neck and cannot be ignored.

14th race – (7) Go Irish finished second in his last two starts and is overdue for a win. (8) Boardwalk Jack faces winners for the first time after a narrow maiden win. (9) J J Valentin usually brings home a minor piece of the purse. (2) Midnight Story may respond to a surface change.
