5th race – (9) Judge Davis gets back on turf and is likely to turn in a better effort. (5) Just a Touch has Grade 1 talent on dirt but is untested on turf. 7th race – (6) Coiled has a win at this marathon distance and looks best in this field. (8) Chapman’s Peak is untested at the distance but has talent. (9) Concord Green can work out a good trip here. (7) Faber should pose a late threat. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 6-7-8-9.

9th race – (1) Event Detail raced on Tapeta after a layoff and should be primed for a big effort on turf. (3) Common Defense ended 2025 in great form. Figures to be tough here. (10) Sand Pipes can be a threat with some racing luck from the outside. (5) Anglophile should be a factor in the final stages. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-10.
