1st race – (8) Vintage Ring is training sharply and can win at first asking. (5) Ashes and Diamonds may wake up in a dirt claimer. (6) Stage Presence may also fare better on dirt. (2) Feasible could benefit from a rail trip. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-6-8.

3rd race – (7) Dr. Park ships in from California and put in a bullet work for this. (5) Military Cruiser had a dismal debut but has been gelded for this try. (1) Chaching Chaching just missed against fellow fillies. Deserves a look here. (8) Don Corleone will try to boss this field on the front end. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-7-8.

5th race – (9) Demolition Duke has a late kick here that should be effective. (8) Urban Legend has the ability to lead throughout. (2) Coast Along has been away but will be a threat on his best try. (4) Let It Ride deserves attention here. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-8-9.

7th race – (6) Lion of Justice was an impressive debut winner and can make it two in a row. (8) Touchy gets some class relief after running in stakes. (10) Skate Away merits attention after a sharp maiden win at Gulfstream. (5) Cut the Dust fits in nicely with these.  Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-8-10. Doubles: 5-6-8-10 with 1-3-5-11.

8th race – (1) Shopper’s Revenge had an awful trip last time. May perk up from the rail with Irad. (5) Rotterdam shapes up as the main threat. (3) British Isles should be closing quickly at the end. (11) Presider cannot be ignored in this spot. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-11.
