7th race – (11) Memorized comes off a solid maiden win in New York and gets top billing here. (1) Sadie Earp has the rail and speed and may not look back (4) Sister Troienne was an impressive winner of her turf debut. (6) Nickel Saver should be closing fast at the end. Betting strategy: 11 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6-11. Doubles: 1-4-6-11 with 1-3-6-12.

8th race – (12) Calling on Heaven has been working forwardly for his first start in a year. Will be formidable if there’s no rust. (1) Nu What’s New comes off a pair of narrow losses and is the one to fear. (3) El Prestigio can make his presence felt at the end. (6) Barker had some trouble last time and might be a factor here. Betting strategy: 12 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6-12.
