(7) Sargent Bilko was a distant second last time and should be a threat here. (5) Braums Run returns to the main track, where he broke his maiden. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. 3rd race –  (2) Surfin’ M has speed and is capable of controlling the race from an inside post. (7) Bird the Legend may score off the stretchout. (8) Da Prince Is Right could perk up at this level. (1) Final Thoughts was a good second last time against cheaper and belongs in the exotics. (4) Kenwood Street comes off a maiden win in a sprint and should be part of the pace scenario. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-7.

5th race – (9) Juana Margarita drops to a level where she can claim a maiden win. (10) Riding Coattails should improve on dirt. (12) Dagny Taggart fits nicely in this field. (3) Oro Estrella should like the added distance. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-9-10-12.

7th race – (2) Rebel With a Cause broke slowly and still finished third in a stakes. Looks best here. (3) Schwarzenegger has speed and could be tough to catch. (4) Outfielder had a wide trip last time. Should get a better one here. (5) Throckmorton figures to be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-5.

9th race – (9) Facteur Cheval rallied belatedly in his US debut. Gets more ground and Irad here. (7) Fort Washington finds some class relief after racing in stakes. (5) Salamis should offer a late threat. (1) Funtastic Again is in good form and will be helped by a rail trip. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-7-9.
