Keeneland congratulates the equine champions and outstanding horsemen in Thoroughbred racing of 2025 who were honored last night at the 55th annual Resolute Racing Eclipse Awards Ceremony at The Breakers Palm Beach in Florida. Many have a Keeneland connection either through auctions or races.
Eclipse Awards winners were selected by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Daily Racing Form and National Turf Writers and Broadcasters.
Among the champions were these graduates of Keeneland sales with their 2025 graded stakes victories:
Ted Noffey (2-Year-Old Male): Owner Spendthrift Farm purchased the colt by Into Mischief for $650,000 during Book 1 of the 2024 September Yearling Sale from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent. Undefeated in four races with earnings of $1.6 million, he won the Spendthrift Farm Hopeful (G1), Keeneland’s Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity (G1) and the FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) Presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance. Ted Noffey, who is trained by Todd Pletcher, was bred by Aaron and Marie Jones LLC.
Super Corredora (2-Year-Old Filly): The Netjets Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) winner was bred by Woodford Thoroughbreds and consigned by Denali Stud, agent, to the 2024 September Sale, where West Point Thoroughbreds purchased her for $400,000. John Sadler trains the Gun Runner filly for Spartan Equine Racing, West Point Thoroughbreds, Robert C. Gardiner and Michael W. Olszewski.
Shisospicy (Female Sprinter): Bill and Corinne Heiligbrodt bred the daughter of Mitole who won Keeneland’s FanDuel Limestone (L) in April and trained here in October. Earning $2 million with five wins in 2025, she also captured the Prevagen Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1), the AGS Music City (G2) and the Mamzelle (G3). Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, consigned Shisospicy as a yearling to the 2023 January Horses of All Ages Sale, where she sold to Fish Stables for $100,000. Jose D’Angelo trained Shisospicy for Morplay Racing and Qatar Racing.
She Feels Pretty (Female Turf Horse): Owner Lael Stable purchased She Feels Pretty for $240,000 at the 2022 September Yearling Sale from the consignment of Stone Farm, agent. Payson Stud bred the daughter of Karokontie (JPN) who in 2025 won the E.P. Taylor (G1), the New York (G1) Presented by Rivers Casino and the Modesty (G3) Presented by Veritas Prime. She Feels Pretty was based much of the year at Keeneland.
In addition, these horsemen who were honored with Eclipse Awards for their excellence in 2025 raced at Keeneland during the year: Godolphin (owner and breeder), jockey Flavien Prat and trainer Bill Mott.
Prat was the leading rider at the Spring Meet with 20 victories.
