3rd race [OC 80k/N2X, 1 mi TURF] – (2) Cosmic Year will race with first-time Lasix in his third start since coming to America from Great Britain where he was second in a Group 1 race. This year he was second in the Cliff Hanger at Monmouth Park and ninth in the Kelso (G3). (5) Intellect had been racing against better horses and then was second last month at this level. (4) Maui Strong was a front-end winner in his only start this year at Churchill Downs in June and shows up as a new gelding. (6) Paros won a $50,000 claimer in April and has nine career wins.

5th race [Md 85000, 1 mi] – (7) Stream It (B) was far back while last early on and rallied wide around the turn for fourth. (1) Disparate Impact set the pace, ended up second, and was claimed for $50,000 from Chad Brown by Linda Rice. (6) Old Time Rocknroll dropped into a claimer in his first start of the year which was only his second and rallied wide to get third. (2) Gordy will run for a tag for the first time after trying the turf once and blinkers come off.

7th race [Clm 16000, 1 1/8 mi] – (9) Apalta (B) bumped around at the start then clipped heels while racing in a starter allowance. (7) Glen Airy makes a big drop in class after getting claimed for $55,000 in April at Oaklawn Park when he was third and then tries a pair of Kentucky allowances. (4) Fever Night has been off since April but won his last two starts in New York including a $20,000 claimer. (6) Pineapple Man runs for $20,000 as a NY-bred and last year ran well twice at Saratoga. His only race this year was against better on a wet track.

10th race [Md 85000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) About Face drops in for a tag for the first time in his fourth career start with a second-place finish in his only race on the turf. (1) Vivaldi will go into a claimer for the first time with four second-place finishes showing. (8) Duty has shown plenty of early speed and will go in his first maiden claimer after hitting the board four times in five career starts. (5) Mortal Lock crossed the finish line first in June but was disqualified to second the only time that he ran for a tag.

Best bets: Cosmic Year (3rd); About Face (10th). Best value: Stream It (5th); Apalta (7th).
