5^th race [Moc 75000C, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (6) Devilish Grin finished second in her first two starts in maiden turf sprints. (4) Pan Pan moved from dirt to turf in her second start and pressed the pace to finish third. Blinkers go on. (3) Fonzi Angel ran wide to finish fourth in her first start and moved from dirt to turf with a pedigree to like the grass. (10) River Empress will make her debut for a hot Saratoga barn with a recent workout on the turf showing.

6^th race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (7) Jetty’s Home (B) was second in her second start last month at Saratoga against a strong field and changes trainers. (4) Sparkling Mama (B) was bet heavily to 7-2 in her debut for a trainer that does not win with first-time runners and showed speed to finish third. (8) Jetty’s Home changes barns after a second and a third at Monmouth Park and then Saratoga. (1) Donna Romano will make her debut for Brad Cox.

7^th race [Md Sp Wt, 5 ½ F TURF] – (6) Fast Market (A) was steadied in the early going last month at Saratoga and then rallied from last to get second. (2) Gellhorn was entered twice for the turf but ended up on the main track on wet and sealed tracks but still finished in the top three both times. (3) Shades of Jade was second in her debut at Gulfstream Park in April at 5-1 for a trainer that is winning at Saratoga with a limited number of starters. (8) D J Jazzy has turf breeding on both sides to make her first start for Chad Brown.

10^th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 5 ½ F TURF] – (8) Ultra Cameo (D) was bet down from 11-1 to 6-1 following his best race and pressed the pace again but faded badly. (2) No Ordinary Love was second in her second start at Saratoga at 5-2. (9) Garden of Grace moved to the turf and finished in the top three twice. (4) Audemars has been training smartly at Fair Hills in Maryland for her first start.

Best bets: Devilish Grin (5^th); Jetty’s Home (6^th). Best value: Fast Market (7^th); Ultra Cameo (10^th).
