3rd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (3) Isthereanormalwife (A) pressed the pace, battled head to head, and finished a close second at 6-1 for a trainer who does not win with first-time starters. (6) Emotionalyavailble made a big improvement to be second in his second start at Aqueduct both times. (8) Coach Ryan was second in October and then in July following a winter layoff as the favorite. (9) Ohonte’s Own hit the board in all three starts including in June as the 2-1 favorite and gets a rider change to Irad Ortiz Jr.

5th race [Alw 55000s, 1 1/8 mi] – (4) Ez Roll had seven top three finishes in a row including three wins in NY-bred allowances. (1) Papa Yo had three very good finishes in high price claimers from which he was taken twice and now changes to the Linda Rice barn. (5) American Grant was an improved second for a $25,000 tag. (2) Fateful Lightning got his maiden victory by disqualification in June when he missed by a head in a $75,000 race and got moved up.

6th race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (6) Hurricane Mo finished third and then second in his two career starts at 5-2 and 3-1. (7) Ed Charles was fourth in his only race last month when he rallied from 10th and last. Remember 1969 Mets fans that Charles used to say, “Never throw a slider to the glider.” (9) Audible Johnny was second in his only race at Monmouth Park at 9-2 and now changes barns to Saffie Joseph Jr. (3) Big Bold Red is a debuting 2-year-old who was touted by his trainer.

10th race [Saratoga Oaks (G2), 1 3/16 mi TURF] – (6) Faithful Departed had two wins and a second in her three recent races in an allowance and the Regret (G3) at Churchill and last month in the Belmont Oaks (G1). (2) Fitz Right won two stakes in April and June including the Wonder Again (G2) and then was third in the Belmont Oaks. (5) Imaginationthelady was second in the Appalachian (G2) and won the Edgewood (G2) before being sixth in the Belmont Oaks. (3) Code set the pace and missed by a neck in a Churchill turf allowance and then was third in the Wonder Again.

Best bets: Ez Roll (5th); Faithful Departed (10th). Best value: Isthereanormalwife (3rd); Hurricane Mo (6th).
