5th race [OC 75k/N2X, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (4) Itsallcomintogetha (C) was bet down from 5-1 to 3-1 following a two-month layoff, had the lead, and finished third while stepping up to a NY-bred stakes race. (1) Clear Conscience has two races back from a winter break with a second in a NY-bred second-level allowance and then a win in a state-bred stakes race. (8) Activist Investing came back from an 18-month layoff to run second in a February allowance at Gulfstream Park. (9) Retouch was third in his first American start at Tampa Downs in April for Chad Brown.
6th race [Md Sp Wt, 5 ½ F TURF] – (6) Delightful Darling had the lead and missed by a neck in her debut at Churchill Downs last month. (7) Pulstar made her first start on the dirt in June at Churchill and also was on the lead but got caught at the wire. (5) Santina is a first-time starter from Wesley Ward that has been training at Keeneland. (1) Grand Gala is a home-bred debut runner for Repole Stable, Todd Pletcher, and Irad Ortiz.
7th race [OC 75K/N2X, 1 1/8 mi] – (4) Drake’s Passage (B) steadied in tight quarters on the inside at the start and finished third last month. (9) Bramito was last seen running a career best race to win a similar type allowance at the June Saratoga meeting by almost five lengths. (7) Society Man was second behind the horse mentioned above following a five-month layoff. (6) Film Star has been racing in top-level allowance and stakes for Linda Rice and gets in here by using the $75,000 claiming option.
12th race [Md Sp Wt, 5 ½ F TURF] – (9) Gellhorn (B) was second in his debut last month behind a Wesley Ward runner and was clear of the rest of the field. Blinkers go on. (6) Girls Rock moved to the turf for her last starts at Churchill and ran second and then third in sprints. (1) Regalton was second in her first start at Gulfstream in May on the Tapeta track. (10) Panache returns from a winter break after a pair of top three finishes on the grass at Aqueduct.
Best bets: Delightful Darling (6th); Drake’s Passage (7th). Best value: Itsallcomintogetha (5th); Gellhorn (12th).
