3^rd race [Md 20000, 1 mi] – (8) Sfumato drops in for a tag for Bill Mott for the first time for the $25,000 price for NY-breds. (5) Mr R T was second in his last two races including at Saratoga 16 days ago. Blinkers go back on. (1) Bargain Purchase gets blinkers on for his second start for Chad Brown after debuting at Aqueduct in February. (4) Start the Day was sixth for a $50,000 tag in June at the Big A. He also gets blinkers.

4^th race [OC75k/SAL75k, 1 mi] – (8) Sparkling Mama was a winner in May in a similar race by a head with the best speed figure of her career beating a filly that won her next start. (2) Spitfire broke her maiden at Saratoga last summer in an auction-price restricted race. She hit the board three times at Oaklawn Park in allowance and stakes races. (4) Killa Sally was a maiden winner at Fair Grounds for a $50,000 tag in March and has a pair of thirds since then at Aqueduct and Churchill. (5) Hot Gossip drops in for the claiming option after a pair of allowances.

6^th race [R, Md Sp Wt, 5 ½ F] – (11) Hurricane Mo is first on the Also Eligible List with a pair of top three finishes showing for his only two starts which were in June at Monmouth Park and Aqueduct. (12) Blackjack is second on the AE list but raced well to be third in his debut at Saratoga in June. (6) Braums Run would be the top choice if those two AEs do not get into the race. He was third in his only race in a stakes at Gulfstream in May and is listed as a new gelding here. (4) George St. will make his first start in this auction-price restricted maiden. (7) Crypto King will make his first start for Riley Mott.

9^th race [Quick Call (G3), 5 ½ F TURF] – (8) Cy Fair has 4 wins from 6 career races including last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint where she defeated an open field with colts with a stalking trip. She will again take on the guys in a field loaded with speed. (3) Throckmorton has never finished worse than third in seven starts. His three starts this year were in stakes where he hit the board each time with off the pace efforts. He comes from the connections of Preakness winner Napoleon Solo. (9) Stradale will try the turf for the first time showing a late running style and is stakes placed for Steve Asmussen. (6) Unwritten Rule rallied from behind to win a stakes race at Gulfstream Park in May on their synthetic.
