1^st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (4) High Official is a home-bred son of Not This Time making his first start for Todd Pletcher. (6) Showa was a $1 million yearling purchase making his debut for Wesley Ward showing a recent turf work at Saratoga. (2) Geneva Lake is a home-bred son of Life Is Good who was touted by his trainer. (5) Le Patron will debut for Bill Mott and, the hall of fame trainer does not win with firsters very often, but when he does it is going long on the turf.

3^rd race [Alw 55000s, 1 1/8 mi] – (1) Beira (B) was washed out badly, broke through the gate, ran briefly and then faded. (2) Don’t Be Salty was claimed from a win in May at Churchill Downs and came back in a starter allowance to miss by a head. (5) Angel Bella ran well in a series of starter allowances in Kentucky. (8) Royal Bobbie returns from an April layoff for Linda Rice and was last seen finishing second for a $50,000 tag.

6^th race [Md 55000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) Majestic Moonlight (C) was bet down from 7-1 to 5-1, broke last, and then rallied into a slow pace for third. (7) Samartina made 2026 her debut while dropping in for a tag for the first time and ran second the whole race. (6) Outro will try a claimer after running second in a maiden special weight at Horseshoe Indy. (8) Devilish Grin was second at this level in May and then unsuccessfully returned to a maiden special weight.

7^th race [Alw 55000s, 7F] – (8) Master Freud (A) broke fast, dropped back, rider lost his crop and then had control problems causing him to steady. (9) Beary Funny (B) broke slowly, went five wide to finish third, and got claimed. (7) South Bend Tom earned a career high speed figure last time when he finished a close second. (4) Golden Symphony missed by a head in a similar starter allowance last month.

Best bets: High Official (1^st); Beira (3^rd). Best value: Majestic Moonlight (6^th); Master Freud (7^th).
