3rd race [NY, Alw 105000 N1X, 6F] – (5) Blue Roof Beau (A) was an easy debut winner at 5-2 at Aqueduct in a fast time. (3) Anyway was first or second in his last three starts with a top-level starter allowance win in May and then a second in a similar spot at Saratoga in June. (1) Mo for the King was third just a neck behind Anyway in his most recent race. (4) Fireballin had a couple of top three finishes in February and May.
6th race [Clm 12500, 1 1/8 mi] – (6) Petrolo (B) stumbled at the start in his first start following a year layoff, got bumped around, moved into contention quickly, and finished third. (5) Shipsational set the pace and missed by a neck for $20,000 in May. (4) Metatron’s Muse was claimed from his last three races including a win in June for a $10,000 tag. (3) Prove Worthy won two races in a row in the spring for $16,000 and $20,000 while getting claimed once.
9th race [Schylerville, 6F] – (2) Prime Aurora made her debut at Gulfstream as a New York bred at 5-1 where he waited on the inside and slipped through an opening to win by almost nine lengths. (1) Voyager was the 4-5 favorite in her first race and ran second after a poor start and racing rankly. (5) Washton was a debut winner at Churchill at 2-1 by a nose after a stalking trip. (8) Luminous Beauty broke her maiden in her second try at Saratoga in June by more than six lengths.
11th race [OC45k/SAL 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (5) Dividend Recap (A) had a troubled trip at the June Saratoga meeting when she had to steady after an allowance turf victory at Aqueduct to start the year. (9) River Tay won four races in a row from September to May and then was second in June at the Spa at today’s level. (6) Pretty Lavish was claimed month when third for $45,000 by a trainer with excellent stats with new runners. (4) Lotus Petal was a winner in May for a $55,000 tag.
Best bets: Blue Roof Beau (3rd); Dividend Racap (11th); Best value: Petrolo (6th); Prime Aurora (9th).
