(4) Kid Billy tried the turf to no avail after seven top three finishes in starter allowance or NY-bred allowances on the dirt. 8th race [Glens Falls (G2), 1 ½ mi TURF] – (5) Speed Shopper won the Bewitched (G3) at Churchill in April, then tried the very tough field in the New York (G1) in June, and gets a rider change to Irad. (4) Gezora won the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf last year and will make her first start for Bill Mott. (2) Storm Miami has early speed which may serve her well in this field.
9th race [Clm 40000 N2L, 5 ½ TURF] – (8) Diliello will drop in for a tag for the first time since he broke his maiden and then ran in two allowances for NY-breds. (3) Tamino was claimed for $50,000 two races back when he finished third.
