2nd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (3) Happy Go More shows a very fast recent workout for a trainer that had a couple of debut winners this spring at Aqueduct. (5) Bye for Now pressed the pace in his first start in May at 5-1. (4) Onebigbeautfulbill is a first-time starter for Brad Cox who wins with 17% of those types. (1) Recurring Revenue made one start in February of 2025, showed some early speed then, and returns as a new gelding with first-time Lasix showing a bullet workout at Saratoga.
3rd race [Clm 20000, 1 mi] – (4) Always Angels returns from an April layoff and drops down with a second for $30,000 and an open-length win for $50,000 showing. (3) Kyle’s Mom won twice early this year for $17,500 and $20,000 before trying a starter allowance that was too tough. (2) Pens Street has been running against much stronger competition and drops in for a tag for the first time since October when she was claimed for $40,000. (1) Pistol Liz Ablazen also returns to the claiming ranks where she had a win and a second.
4th race [Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (7) Holy Seven made one start last year for Steve Asmussen in a full field and rallied from seventh to second at 5-1 before finishing fourth. He shows a pair of bullet works in Kentucky in preparation for his first start of this year. (6) Party Animal was third in a similar spot at the June Saratoga meeting. (4) Implacable showed plenty of early speed in the winter and returned from a four-month layoff in a turf sprint. (3) Commitment Fund is a debut runner for Chad Brown, Klaravich, and Flavien Prat that sold for $145,000 as a yearling by a $7,500 stallion.
5th race [Md 55000, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (8) Capricious Outcome has a pair of fourth-place finishes this year since moving to the turf for Chad Brown and drops in for a tag for the first time as Brown looks to get wins early in the meeting. (2) Dynadee dropped in for a tag last month for the first time, set the pace, and finished second. (6) Crowned Moment will make his first start for a trainer that wins with 26% of his firsters. (4) Harrier comes back from a long layoff when he rallied from last in a large field to finish third at Colonial Downs.
Best bets: Holy Seven (4th); Capricious Outcome (5th). Best value: Happy Go More (2nd); Always Angel (3rd).
