2nd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (1) Magnum Microbrst (B) finished second in her turf debut, well clear of the rest of the field. (5) Fire’s Out (A) moved to the turf in her first start of the year, got blocked in the stretch, and ran on strongly to get third far ahead of the rest of the field. (3) Share Repurchase started her career at Tampa Downs on the grass in April when she ran into some traffic and finished third at 6-1. Blinkers go on. (8) Time Stone broke slowly in her last two races but then came running late and gets more distance now.
3rd race [Astoria, 5 ½ F] – (2) Gena B (B) dueled the entire race in her only start and was far ahead of the others at 7-1. (3) Sassy C W began her career at Churchill Downs in April and beat a field of nine by more than five lengths as the 6-5 favorite. (6) Vernon Valley won her debut by more than two lengths at Aqueduct two weeks ago with 3-1 odds. (1) Varinisi was a clear winner at first asking last month at Evangeline Downs in Louisiana.
5th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (2) Professor Grace (B) got checked and shuffled back at the start and finished third behind two runners that dropped down from maiden special weights. (5) Nonna Lynne was fourth in her only start in September at 7-2 and gets Lasix for the first time. (4) Will of a Womanne was second in both of her starts including in April when she was entered in a race that was meant for the turf. (12) Hello Beauty is second on the AE list but is a win contender if she gets in the gate. (9) Tralee Girl will make her first start of the year with Lasix for the first time for Miguel Clement. (14) Our Preferred Pal (B) is entered for main track only.
6th race [OC 50k/N1X, 1 mi] – (9) Donor Advised was a front-end winner as a heavy favorite in her second start and prevailed after a stretch duel. (8) Velvet Vortex was a debut winner at Fair Grounds in February and came back against winners to run fourth at Keeneland both times as the favorite. (4) Limes Don’t Lie ran third in her first start at Saratoga in August and returned in April to win with a closing move as the odds-on favorite. (7) Pure Beauty broke her maiden at Gulfstream Park, was third in an allowance, and then was overmatched in the Gazelle (G3) at the Big A in April.
