2nd race [OC 75k/ N2X, 1 1/8 mi] – (3) Olympic Dreams (B) got checked to last, rallied back to 3rd, and got claimed. Blinkers come off. (5) Resilience came back from nearly a year layoff after last being seen in two legs of the 2024 Triple Crown. He won the Wood Memorial (G2) that year. (6) Society Man has been off since January and was second in that Wood Memorial in 2024 along with winning the Matt Winn (G3). (2) Castle Island won a $25,000 claimer last month after being taken in his two prior races.

3rd race [Md Sp Wt, 5 ½ F] – (5) Diblasi was second in his debut at Keeneland in April and is 1 of only 3 experienced horses in this field of 2-year-olds. (1) Chalky White pressed the pace in his first start at Churchill Downs last month as the even money favorite and finished fifth behind a horse that won his next start. (7) Gracie’s Delight set the pace in her only race and finished fourth as the even money favorite. (3) Malus is the first of two foals to race for the dam who was a Grade 3 winner of $1.08 million and was third in the Kentucky Oaks (G1).

7th race [Soaring Softly (G3), 5 ½ F TURF] – (6) Hey Bertie won her first races and then rallied for second beaten by a neck in the Take the A Train. (3) Saturday Flirt won debut last year as a 2-year-old and then went to run at Royal Ascot for Wesley Ward. In her 2025 debut she won an allowance by a neck. (8) Cloe won a turf sprint stakes race in March at Gulfstream Park and then was third in the Senorita (G3) at Santa Anita (G3). Blinkers go on. (1) Love Cervere was the winner of that Take the A Train stakes at Big A.

9th race [Jersey Girl, 6F] – (4) Long Neck Paula was second and a winner in races against the boys and ships up for Wesley Ward who wins at an uncanny rate with horses that he sends to NYRA tracks. (2) Beauty Reigns was an impressive winner of an allowance race at Churchill on Kentucky Derby weekend. (3) Nilo’s Rose won her last three starts going from a maiden to a starter allowance and then an allowance. (5) Indy Bay broke her maiden at Gulfstream in March and followed that with an allowance victory at Oaklawn Park.

Best bets: Diblasi (3rd); Long Neck Paula (9th). Best value: Olympic Dreams (2nd); Hey Bertie (7th).
