4^th race [Prioress (G3), 6F] – (3) Mashallah won 3 out of 5 starts including a stakes at Colonial Downs last time by more than five lengths. (4) Goodall is a two-time stakes winner with top three finishes in a pair of graded stakes at Saratoga including the Test (G1). (1) Mythical won 7 out of 9 starts to begin her career and all but one of them were in stakes. (6) Hen Party was third in a pair of Grade 3 stakes in her last two races and gets blinkers on.

7^th race [NY, Md 50000, 1 1/8 mi TURF] – (7) Valiant Diva (A) was steadied off heels at the start, then was keen and got taken up, but ended up rallying to fourth. (11) Two Clicks has a second and a third at this maiden claiming level. (8) Sky Low Low has a pair of top three finishes this year at this claiming price. (5) Chaumet raced seven wide last month and rallied to a close finish in fourth.

9^th race [NY, Alw 105000 N1X, 6F] – (5) Calling Card was claimed for $30,000 by Linda Rice in June after a victory and then won a starter allowance for NY-breds by 10 lengths. (2) King Farro changes to the Mike Maker barn after a third-place finish in a race like today. (1) B Provocateur showed plenty of early speed in recent starts including a second in July at this level. (3) Music in Motion was a maiden special weight winner last month.

10^th race [Hopeful (G1), 7F] – (1) The Good Life (A) was an open-length debut winner at 3-1 against a strong field. (6) Constant Force (A) stumbled twice at the start and was 10 lengths behind but rallied to win by more than two lengths. (3) Booked won the Sanford (G3) in July and was second in the Saratoga Special (G3) at Saratoga this summer. (4) Flight Command was a debut winner at Aqueduct in June and stumbled badly last month and was essentially eased.

Best bets: Mashallah (4^th); Calling Card (9^th). Best value: Valiant Diva (7^th); The Good Life (10^th).
