Ted Noffey and Super Corredora, both purchased at Keeneland’s 2024 September Yearling Sale, triumphed today on Future Stars Friday at the 42nd Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Del Mar.
Winner of Keeneland’s Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity (G1), Ted Noffey captured the $2 million FanDuel Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) Presented by Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance to remain undefeated. At Book 1 of the September Sale, owner Spendthrift Farm paid $650,000 for the Into Mischief colt from the consignment of Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent for breeder Aaron and Marie Jones.
The first four finishers in the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) — Super Corredora, Explora, Percy’s Bar and Meaning — all sold at the 2024 September Sale.
Co-owner West Point Thoroughbreds paid $400,000 for Super Corredora, who was consigned by Denali Stud, agent. The Gun Runner filly was bred by Woodford Thoroughbreds.
