Street Beast Headlines Field of 11 for UK HealthCare Transylvania

Midway Racing’s Street Beast, returning to the grass for the first time since a fourth-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1), heads a field of 11 3-year-olds entered Monday for Friday’s 38th running of the $600,000 UK HealthCare Transylvania (G3).

The UK HealthCare Transylvania will go as the eighth race on Friday’s 10-race opening day program with a 4:44 p.m. ET post time. First post is 1 p.m.

Trained by Ben Colebrook, Street Beast was a 7-length winner of the Global Tote Juvenile Mile (L) at Kentucky Downs prior to his Breeders’ Cup run. This winter, he raced twice over the all-weather surface at Turfway Park. Luan Machado has the mount from post 5.

Trainer Graham Motion, a two-time winner of the race including last year with Test Score, will go for a repeat with Stone Farm, C. Linwood Miles Jr., Ken Wheeler Jr., Lynwood Napier and Deborah Easter’s Proton

Winner of the Laurel Futurity last year and runner-up in the Columbia at Tampa Bay Downs to open 2026, Proton will exit post 1 under John Velazquez.
