Undefeated Turnerloose Heads Overflow Field For JPMorgan Chase Jessamine

Dawn and Ike Thrash’s undefeated Turnerloose heads a field of 14 2-year-old fillies plus two also-eligibles entered Friday for next Wednesday’s 31st running of the $200,000 JPMorgan Chase Jessamine (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the turf.

Scheduled as the final race with a 4:44 p.m. ET post time on Wednesday’s eight-race program, the JPMorgan Chase Jessamine is a Breeders’ Cup Challenge race with the winner earning a fees-paid berth into the $1 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) to be run Nov. 5 at Del Mar.

Trained by Brad Cox, Turnerloose won at first asking going a mile at Ellis Park on July 16 and came back to score a 5-length victory in the Aristocrat Juvenile Fillies (L) at a mile at Kentucky Downs.

Florent Geroux, who has been aboard for both victories, has the mount Wednesday and will exit post position three.
