Yearling Half-Sister to Echo Zulu Reaches $1.4 Million

A daughter of American Pharoah who is a half-sister to recent Spinaway (G1) winner Echo Zulu sold for $1.9 million to Northshore Bloodstock, agent, a little more than two hours after the start of Monday’s opening session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Betz Thoroughbreds, agent, consigned the filly, who is out of Grade 2 winner Letgomyecho, by Menifee. The filly also is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Echo Town and Grade 3 winner J Boys Echo.

The September Sale covers 11 sessions through Sept. 24.

A filly by Uncle Mo out of the Forestry mare Nikki’s Choice sold for $1.1 million to Courtlandt Farm during Monday’s opening session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Paramount Sales, agent, consigned the filly, who is from the family of Canadian champion Charlie Barley, Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) winner Success Express and Grade 1 winner Greenwood Lake.

The September Sale covers 11 sessions through Sept. 24.

A colt by Into Mischief from the family of champion Islington (IRE) sold to Winchell Thoroughbreds for $1.35 million during Monday’s opening session of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Consigned by Mt. Brilliant Farm, the colt is out of the Hard Spun mare Superioritycomplex (IRE).

The September Sale covers 11 sessions through Sept. 24.
