Parking FAQ - Spring 2024

Why is parking different at Keeneland this Spring?

Parking has changed slightly this year due to construction of the new Paddock Building. To ensure a smooth entry and exit process for all patrons visiting Keeneland, we have adjusted our parking operations.

Is there free parking?

Yes! As in years past, we have ample free parking spaces available on The Hill and The Meadow every day, with complimentary shuttling.

How can I purchase a parking permit?

If you would like to pre-purchase parking, you are welcome to purchase a permit here. These spots are available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis until sold out.  To ensure a spot, we encourage you to purchase online in advance.

Where is handicap parking?

Complimentary handicap parking is located in Rows 21-25.  No reservation or permit is required for handicap parking and all spaces are located in the paved lot. Complimentary golf cart shuttles from the parking lot to the South Grandstand Entrance are available. Enter Gate 1 to access.

What are The Meadow and The Hill?

The Meadow is the grassy area adjacent to the Bus Lot that many of our patrons have parked in previously, just a short walk past the paved parking area. The Hill is Keeneland’s official tailgate lot located near the Entertainment Center. Both areas have complimentary shuttles to our new Shuttle Depot, with drop off located at the walking path to the North or South Grandstand Entrances.
