Pre-Sale Deadlines

August 3

  • Entries due online

August 5

  • Property line changes

August 9

  • Racing updates (races that run after this date will not appear in catalog)

August 10

  • Breeders' Cup, EBF, and state-bred nominations due into their respective offices in order to appear in the sales catalog

August 14

  • Final withdrawal from sale for horses not to appear in catalog (second $500 entry fee waived)
  • Wish lists due

August 19

  • The Jockey Club Registration certificates due for all except weanlings ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)

August 28

  • Preliminary placements released

September 1

  • Proof page changes
  • Black-type racing updated through this date for catalog
  • Deadline to request session swaps
  • NTRA contribution lists
  • First $500 of Entry Fee

September 2

  • Consignors’ client lists for catalog mailing

October 1

  • Original Coggins certificates ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)
  • EVA results dated within 90 days of horses' sale date. Recommended blood pull Aug. 17 - Sept. 2, 2026 ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)
  • The Jockey Club Registration certificates for all weanlings ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)
  • Stallion service certificates ($100 penalty per horse will apply after this date)
  • Consignor’s Authorized Agent form ($100 penalty per property line will apply after this date)

October 13

  • X-rays to Repository: Must be taken within 21 days of sale date.
  • X-rays, endoscopic videos and veterinary certificates must be on file in the Repository at least four days prior to sale date.

REMINDER: All broodmares or broodmare prospects must have a veterinary certificate on file stating "pregnant" or "suitable for mating." Veterinary certificates must be dated within 10 days of selling date. Health certificates, including EHV-1 vaccine information, must be dated within 30 days of arrival on sale grounds and are required in our office prior to sell.
