Juddmonte Spinster (G1)


Based in Lexington among other international operations, Juddmonte Farms is a globally renowned Thoroughbred breeding and racing operation founded in 1980 by Prince Khalid bin Abdullah. Over the years, Juddmonte has produced more than 100 homebred Group/Grade 1 winners and is celebrated for its elite broodmare band and stallion roster, including Frankel and Kingman. With its European headquarters located at Banstead Manor Stud in the UK, the operation is known for its carefully selected stallions and homebred bloodlines, a hallmark of Juddmonte’s approach to breeding and racing that has consistently shaped the sport at the highest levels.

Juddmonte’s support of Keeneland began in 2005 with its sponsorship of the Spinster, cementing the farm’s commitment to top-level racing in North America. First run in 1956, the Juddmonte Spinster (G1) has evolved into a consummate Grade 1 test on Keeneland’s main track. Today, it is part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge “Win and You’re In” program, offering a guaranteed berth to the Breeders’ Cup Distaff.
