Happy Wednesday from Keeneland Racecourse!

1st Race

2-6-3

#2 Getting Closer comes to Kentucky having Shaun some promising ability in Southern California throughout her career. She also get some class relief this afternoon and cuts back in distance. Also, the blinkers are coming off which she's run better without them as she had them on in her most recent start.

2nd Race

2-9-5

#2 Rush Hour is the first time starter for Trainer George Weaver who's done well over the last few years with-year-olds debuting in the springtime. This horse is owned by Dew Sweepers LLC who seemed to focus there stable around getting two-year-olds that are precocious and ready to win early in their career. So these connections are always on my radar come the spring here at Keeneland.

3rd Race

5-4-2

#5 Honky Tonk Highway exits four consecutive tougher races down at the fairgrounds in New Orleans. The class relief at this horse gets today to me makes him the one to beat.

4th Race

6-1-3

#6 Sedona Spirit has run twice in his career and done pretty well in those two starts without winning. The biggest thing is the fact that this horse had far outside post positions in his two races thus far and today gets drawn a little bit further down to the inside, which I think will be a huge positive for him.

5th Race

2-3-5

#2 Black Ginger isn't the right spot here today dropping into this $20,000 claiming event. She gets back on dirt where she seems to be better throughout her career and she's run some credible races against tougher competition in the past year at Keeneland so the drop-down in class is a big plus for s filly like this at this point in her career.

6th Race

7-5-2

#7 Jubilee Parade has run two promising races down in South Florida at Gulfstream Park this season. He's inching closer towards a win and I think that given the group he's running against today it looks like he's primed to break through the maiden ranks.

7th Race

5-2-4

#5 Fact should be able to get solid forward position in this race considering he's coming out of some quickly run races. I think you'll be able to carry that position. The two turn distance here today as he's only had one other opportunity to go to terms and that was against stakes competition and he nearly won that day.

8th Race

3-1-12

#3 Child of the Moon is once again back in against the allowance company and she's a strong fit for this level of competition coming out of a very live Grade 2 stakes event at TAMPA BAY DOWNS, where she was only beaten, 3/4 of a length in that spot.
