Keeneland Race 8
A stewards’ inquiry was posted involving #4 High Go (Tyler Gaffalione), along with #1 General Graham (Jose Ortiz) and #9 Kid Twist (Adam Beschizza). After reviewing the race replay and interviewing all three riders, the stewards determined that no rival was at fault; therefore, no change was made.
Official order of finish: 1-8-9-5

An incident occurred in Race 8 involving High Go and jockey Tyler Gaffalione on the backstretch.
Tyler Gaffalione walked off and was evaluated by UK HealthCare medical staff and cleared.
High Go was attended to by an expert team of veterinarians led by KHGRC Chief Veterinarian Dr. Nick Smith, in consultation with Keeneland Vice President of Equine Safety Dr. Stuart Brown. He sustained a fractured right shoulder, and humane euthanasia was elected in the best interest of the horse. We express our sincere condolences to High Go’s connections, owner Calumet Farm and trainer Brendan Walsh.

Business Formal at Keeneland reflects the highest expression of race day tradition: timeless, tailored and distinctly refined. This standard calls for elevated attire that honors the heritage of the sport and the elegance of the setting. Crisp tailoring, classic silhouettes and thoughtful details define a look that is both dignified and celebratory.
Explore our business formal dress code guide & rules below.
The following venues require this dress code for admission.
