The Lafayette was a fixture for 3-year-olds during the Spring Meets of 1937-2008. The race was run for older horses in 2015 and 2020 on the undercard of the Breeders’ Cup. The Lafayette was upgraded to listed in 2025.  

 

2024 Replay 

In 2024 Glengarry captured the Lafayette for trainer Doug Anderson, jockey Luis Saez, and owners Aaron Kennedy, Toby Joseph, and Doug Anderson.
