The health and Safety of our employees, horsemen and fans is our top priority. Keeneland Race Course reserves the right to search all persons and their belongings and to refuse admission or to eject any person refusing such procedures or where such search produces contents to items deemed unlawful, dangerous, obnoxious or prohibitive by Keeneland.  Please see below for additional admission details and contact us at [email protected] for any questions.

Things to Know Before Your Race Day Visit


  • For the safety of our guests, patrons will be asked to walk through metal detectors prior to entering through admission gates. You may be asked to open coats and jackets for inspection.
  • All bags are subject to inspection at the admission gate. Traditional backpacks and book bags are not permitted. Guests may bring strollers, diaper bags, camera bags and purses/pocket books at Keeneland's discretion.
  • Patrons may not bring food and beverage (including alcohol), balloons, grills, tents or sports equipment.
  • Foldable chairs are only permitted in general areas on the first floor; they are not permitted in the Clubhouse, Paddock area, or floors 2-4.
  • Only patrons with a media credential are permitted to bring large camera equipment. Credentials must be visible at all times.
  • Keeneland allows the use of umbrellas outdoors. Please be mindful of your surroundings and do not open/close/twirl umbrellas near horses.
  • Only trained service animals are permitted inside the gates. Service animals will not be permitted inside the Paddock or Walking Ring, due to the safety of our horses.
  • Firearms and weapons are not allowed within the race track gates, regardless of a CCDW permit. Weapons also include guns knives, pepper spray, tasers, or items which Keeneland deems unlawful, dangerous or obnoxious onto the premises.
  • Keeneland is accessible to patrons with disabilities. Please call the ticketing office at (859) 288-4299 for more information.

Keeneland Photo and Video Policy


Keeneland welcomes fans to safely share your race-day experience with family and friends. As you do, please remember the safety of our human and equine athletes is our top priority. In addition, all patrons are subject to Keeneland’s ticketing and admissions policy, which is available here and incorporated herein by reference: tickets.keeneland.com/racing-tickets/

Handheld cameras, still and video cameras, and camera phones are allowed on the grounds subject to the following:

1. Photographs, videos, and the making of drawings or paintings on Keeneland property are permitted for personal use only;

2. The foregoing are permitted only in areas open to the public, and must not block aisles or walkways or otherwise distract staff or security;

3. The use of professional photographic equipment (such as tripods, monopods, handheld microphones, lighting instruments, other external equipment, etc.) is not permitted; and

4. A safe distance must be maintained at all times from all human and equine athletes.

Any commercial or other unauthorized use of any transmission, picture or image, film, writing, drawing, or other depiction of Keeneland or its names, marks, or logos is prohibited without Keeneland’s prior express written consent.

Please be mindful that your photography or video activities respect the needs and privacy of other patrons, athletes and other participants and do not distract staff or security from their primary duties. Keeneland reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph or videotape on its premises if it is a disruption and/or is perceived that it might endanger patrons, equine or human athletes or other participants, staff, or others.

The Life Members Room will not be available during the Fall Meet.

The Life Members Room offers a picturesque view of the Paddock as well as upscale accommodations within the second floor of the Keeneland Clubhouse. Guests will have access to the Clubhouse Lawn so that they can experience the excitement of racing live from the track.

2025 Fall Meet


Keeneland's Fall Meet includes 22 stakes worth a total of $10.85 million, including 8 Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" races. The Fall Meet opens Friday, October 3 and continues through Saturday, October 25, with no racing on Mondays or Tuesdays.

All racing participants and personnel must be licensed according to 810 KAR 1:025.

Completed forms should be returned to the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation. All licensing-related questions should be directed to the KHRC licensing office.

Kentucky Racing License holders receive free admission for themselves and one guest any day of the live meet.

Public Group Reservation Process

  1. Browse options for group reservations ahead of time.
  2. Visit this website during the reservation window: December 1 at 9 a.m. - December 2 at 5 p.m. EST
  3. Submit a request with preferred accommodations through our online form. This is a request only. You are not purchasing tickets.
  4. Groups will be selected based on availability; groups will be notified by December 12.
  5. A payment deadline will be provided upon confirmation of the reservation.

Dogwood Room

Named for the native Kentucky flowering Dogwood tree found throughout Keeneland’s park-like grounds, the Dogwood Room offers guests a welcoming space that reflects the elegance and charm of its surroundings. Located on the second floor of the new Paddock Building, this spacious venue overlooks the Saddling Paddock, providing an ideal vantage point. The room features buffet-style dining, blending tradition with comfort for a memorable race day.

Lexington/Kentucky Dining Room

Located on the fourth floor overlooking the scenic Keeneland track, the Lexington/Kentucky Room is an exceptional dining option for a day at the races! Tables seat 6 or 4, where guests can enjoy a deluxe lunch buffet and cocktails. Guests can come and go from the reserved table throughout the day to watch horses in the paddock or the races on the track apron!

The Phoenix Room overlooks the Paddock. Guests can come and go from this room, and the tables are reserved for the entire day. Place bets from the private tellers in the dining room, then watch the races from the fourth floor balcony or track apron!

Vouchers

Keeneland food and beverage vouchers are available in $10 increments and are valid through the duration of the 2026 Spring Meet. Vouchers can be used at any of our concession stands or bars throughout the grandstand.

Additional Details

Tickets are not valid for resale to third parties. Tickets purchased from venues that are not licensed by Keeneland are invalid and will not be honored by Keeneland. Patrons offering Keeneland tickets for resale will be restricted from purchasing tickets in the future.

Payment

Please allow for 5-7 business days for an email confirmation. Payment in full will be required at that time. If we are not able to accommodate your group on your preferred race day, we will collaborate with you to book a reservation for an alternate date.

Delivery

Patrons can choose to have their tickets emailed, sent to their mobile device, mailed, or picked up at will call.

Cancellation of Dining Reservations

If you need a refund on any of your tables, you must notify the ticket office 2 weeks before your arrival date. No refunds will be given after that time. You have to return whole tables.

Cancellation of Grandstand Reserved Seating

If you need a refund on your seats, you must notify the ticket office 2 weeks before your arrival date. No refunds will be given after that time.

Gratuity for Groups of 8 or more

A 20% gratuity will be automatically applied to food and beverage for all groups of 8 or more in the dining rooms.
